Just remember though if you get something turbo'd it will soon become another project - I can guarantee you.

Japanese turbo cars are so easy to mod, so first you'd want an exhaust.

Then you'd get the intake done, then turbo, then ECU, and it never ends.

If it were me, i'd get any VW and slam it over steels - job done.

(Actually thats not true, i'd get an E36 BMW)

What about a late E36 BM 328i.

I know its not a turbo.........but........

.........A saloon or tourer should be cheaper to insure then a coupe and they put out 197 bhp standard............and fly

193bhp and good luck finding a cheap straight 328. Oh and watch out for cars that did not have the nikasil issue fixed, alot of money to fix.

220-230bhp is possible for under a grand also. Go for a saloon for the stiffer shell.

Your not choosy are ya mate

not at all

i asked because if people throw ideas at me, even if i dont like them it gives me an idea of what i dont want which leaves me with what i do want

stagea looks a beast but I would check to see what spares availability is like. Is it a uk model or import? I have never even seen one of those on the road

all imports.

they are the same floorpan as a R33 skyline, using the same engine and the 4wd system from the R34.

Modification and replacement parts are dead easy to find as its all R33 skyline bits but standard service parts are again just skyline parts so can be directly supplied from Nissan. Many companies do offer modification parts for the stagea such as coilovers etc

it is basically a Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-T estate

 oh well only 4 out

You can get a modified inlet manifold and throttle body kit for £340 which gives an extra 20-25 bhp, haven't bothered doing it on mine though as the wife uses it more then me these days.
