cos my car lives outside i was thinking of a cover for it as it only gets 3/4/5 runs a week it just sits there- staying wet

i got a shock yesterday when a window dropped off the sliders- it hasn't rained in 6 days and there was loads of wet leaves/muck in the bottom of the door  . will a cover stop this, i mean one of those 30 quid silver things from hellfrauds.

or will moisture still accumulate etc. i know she isn't a show winner, but it certanly aint no nail and i want to keep it that way.

(no :queer: remarks about the cover either please  )

Those Halfords covers are actually pretty good, not the really cheap ones they the do, but the most expensive one is good. i bought one a while ago for a past car and they are really durable and go what they say they're going to do.

The Capri lives outside on the drive so I bought a breatheable Tyvek cover from Halfrauds for £55. Would defo recommend a cover, although I do try and take the cover off once a week to air it a little

My sisters MG Midget lived under a cover from Halfords for a while and it was really good, mind you anything's more water tight than a convertible MG top  though you will have to tie extra rope around it across the top of the bonnet/boot as it did try and lift in strong winds.
