Question for the concours boys...

Are there any concours boys on here?

If so, why are these so expensive?

I'm not arguing with the price, i'm guessing I just dont understand their worth

Because its what was fitted to the RS1800 and Mex from the factory. If someone has a 99% complete concours car, and then fits some 25 quid motor factors replacement headlamps, its not going to win any prizes now is it

Their that price because its greedy bollox selling them, 1000 odd feedback over several years selling new old stock and he still hasn't managed to register as a trader, must be too busy...

greedy i reckon. but its just a headlamp to me.

original flat h4's seem quite hard to find now im not really into concours too much cleaning not enough driving so any lamp will do me but as for show judges they notice even the most unusual things at a glance like incorrect wheel nuts even metric/imperial can be easily determined by small pressings in the stud incorrect trim for that month even down to stiching etc if the cigar lighter has been used sooty exhaust the list is endless

They are worth what someone is willing to pay, if he gets that then fair play to the chap. He spent the money in the 1st place & they wont become more available with time, they will only go up in value as the cars are.
