Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted January 3, 2007 Report Posted January 3, 2007 My mate has bought the exact same model (F20) for his dad at Xmas. We spent hours looking at the different models, and decided it would be the easiest one for him to use. It is also well specced up for the price as well. My dad has an older Navman and there have been no probs, well, apart from when my dad knows he can go a shorter/quicker way (Which he actually does) but, as we worked out, they are great if you don't know the area your in. My mates dad has had no complaints either, so I think you should be ok with that one mate. It also has a postcode search, and it was also the loudest one we tested. (Important when your dad's are deaf as the proverbial) They all "shit their pants" every so often. I have my sat nav running through my PDA, and that throws a wobbly from time to time. You won't go wrong with that mate, go and get it

escort21 Posted January 3, 2007 Report Posted January 3, 2007 Satnavs pants....I find I concentrate better when trying to find the way on my own and I remember it as well
Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted January 3, 2007 Report Posted January 3, 2007 I bought a road atlas for 2.99 in the sale LOL, funny you should say that, my dad get's me one of those every Xmas without fail. It all started one Xmas, he bought me an Atlas, and the year after he bought another, but he forgot he bought me one the previous year. So now it seems to be an ongoing joke, I mean, he doesn't even bother wrapping them up now
