bomber1 Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 right ive got a mk1 escort with a pinto fitted. ive now fitted a 3piece 4branch manifold. i now have brake issues ie i cant find a master cylinder to fit in the bay wether its the tandem non servoed m/c or a tower type with servo. the standard one hits the manifold with no room to fit the brake pipes to it and the tower type wont go over even with the side of the tower cut away as the linkage underneath hits the servo i dont realy want to go down the bias box set up but idealy want a twin circuit ? any ideas?
rallyesport04 Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 how about using a mex pedal box the cylinders inside the car but its single line not tandam look the same as bias but dont have a balance bar set up either gs escorts or escort tec should have one
bomber1 Posted January 26, 2010 Author Report Posted January 26, 2010 mmmmmmmmm didnt think any had a reverse pedal box as standard will call them tomorrow
rallyesport04 Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 you can use either hyd or cable clutch by changing the pedal the left cylinder is clutch and right is brakes
birdy Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 failing that you could always try using a remote servo, propper old school.
