they wont fold. other manufacturers have had probs in the past and had to recall hundreds of thousands of cars. seem to remember vauxhall had a problem with front lower arms snapping some time ago.

its not so much bout cost of the recall i was thinking of all the people who wont buy them now

 

and lancia where are they now nowhere just because of a bad reputation

People will still buy Toyota....Every car manufacturer has recalls, most of which, you`ll never even hear about.....Lots of small, niggly little issues..some of which will get done when the car goes in for a service etc

End of the day.....people still buy Fiats, and they`ve had mega recalls since day dot!!!

Lancia are on the go still.........

Renault had to recall Clio's as their bonnet catches didnt hold very well and peoples bonnets were in danger of flying up.

 

im sure Toyota will survive this, they may loose some business but it wont be enough to effect them too much

If I remember correctly, the front engine mounts on the Betas failed because of rust and the engines fell out onto the road...
