D-FENS Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 True, but that's about the only highlight of living here. How many other OSF owners do you know on the Isle .
stevepeanut Posted April 4, 2010 Author Report Posted April 4, 2010 and heres what happens when you get it wrong
stevepeanut Posted April 4, 2010 Author Report Posted April 4, 2010 tank slapper yip as the bars slap off each side of the tank a bad slapper like that can cause so much force that it can sometimes push the pistons back in the front calipers. If you are lucky enough to stay on, get to the next bend, pull the brake lever, and........no brakes, usually followed by a crash
Jonb Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 I love the island I overtook a copper on the mountain one year, speedo said 165, and stuff was still passing me on the outside. I bottled it when the bike still had go left oh, and never take on a local - they'll just piss off into the distance LOTS of osf live there too
Nicks53 Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 True, but that's about the only highlight of living here. How many other OSF owners do you know on the Isle . Two. One being a mate of mine who bought a Mk3 'Tina a little while ago and another being the fella I bought my Mk2 from. Sadly, I'm not currently an OSF owner as the Mk2 had to be passed on due to some major bodging but I'm saving up and got my eyes open for any more offers.
