I think they both past me yesterday evening on the A22. I would have waved but I was driving the everyday car. They look fantastic though.

It was running over a secoond slower than last year?? had twin 40's put on and set up on rolling road, so whats that about? ended up running 17.4, but i had a great day and managed to get quite a few runs in in the afternoon. Dad's only learning on the computer!! although hes getting quite good! (perhaps not the typing part) He didnt run the Corty, i think he enjoys watching everyone else though just as much. maybe the 100e will be ready for the next one?? we'll see

That is a bit odd - is the engine very low spec? Standard cam? Perhaps it deosn't need all that air? What power did it make on the rollers & who's?

Its all Standard, had the carbs set up by Torque of the devil and its running sweet as, i dont get it, all my times yesterday were consistant so i dont think its anything im doing.

Well they put 40's on the Nova 1300 sports so if yours are choked down to a reasonable size I would have thought it would have been better than a standard carb on yours.

 

I used to run a twin choke on a mild 1650cc, when I swapped to 40's, with no other changes it ran 0.25 faster so yours really has gone the wrong way

One other thing - it's best to run slower times initially in the OSDC so it's not all bad news!
