I decided to take the mk1 out today and was only out for about an hour....had 3 people tell me it looked great, a few light flashes and thumbs up from other drivers and got to show a scooby up who never expected a 1973 escort to be packing a turbo!!! on the whole the old girl made my day and made me appreciate her!

 

Just wondered if you folks had been out and about and if your beast put a smile on your faces today?!!

took my escort to have its mot on friday and it passed so i went i got tax for and went for a long drive lol,driveing an osf now for 3 years puts the biggest smile on ya face when u get flashed at by drives is just a buzzz and when ya in a petrol station filling up u get ppl saying nice car and takeing pic lol

Took mine out for a little spin yesterday. First time my girlfriend has been in it. Even let her drive it a little bit! She thought it was "alright" I thought it was great tho!

Been to London today, KJ & Marty wiring the nos up, about 400 mile round trip, the Corty went well, but a bit chilly first thing with no heater! all set for Shakey in two weeks!
