I was out for a little drive in the sunshine yesterday after work, went round a corner and the little b*stard shot out on to the road straight into the front of the capri. It wrecked the bumper, took out the indicator and dented the front valance. Then it went into a vauxhall combo going the other way and took out his bumper and put a hole in his radiator before promptly getting up and running off! Fortunately I was only doing about 35 but I wonder how many cars are written off every year because of collisions with deer and other animals.... watch out!

Very nasty mate :( Big G on here had some major damage to the front of his RS a couple of years ago too courtesy of a deer that ran out :(

Yer they can cause some nasty damage, I know someone who had their car completely written off by one. I was comparitively lucky, at least bumpers are available and not too expensive. It could've been a lot worse if it had hit the wing or something else expensive.

Not good! I was following a mate in his focus going to ford fair a couple of years ago and a pigeon flew out and hit his bumper. Put a big crack in it. He was not amused! Must happen a lot!

A sheep jumped off a high bank at the side of the road on the way to Princetown some years ago, caused £1,000 pounds worth of damage to the Carlton I had at the time, the sheep was dead though..... :(

Not long ago i was following a rover 75 when a badger ran out in front of it, the car was doing 60-65 mph at the time it took the bumper off broke both n/side head lamps holed the rad and the air con rad and bent the front panel :shock::shock: One of my brothers mates was killed 4 years ago when a calf had got out of the field it was in and he hit it whilst on his RD 350 yamaha :sad:
