Anyone know if Essex V4 and 3.0 litre V6 bellhousing bolt pattern is the same OR if the V6 bellhousing pattern changed at all for diferrent applications (Scimitar)

If your talking about the essex then i think the bolt patterns are all the same but there are a few diffrent types of bell housing about.

The V4 and V6 are same bolt pattern but I think you'll find the V6 is a deeper bell housing, as i once tried to fit a V6 clutch into my V4 transit bell housing and it didnt fit too well, ie jammed up the engine.

You may well have a point, my V4 bellhousing is very shallow

How do I know? the other hurdle i fell at was the V4 flywheel doesnt work on a V6, they are counterbalanced differently. I had to source a V6 item and it all went down downhill from there!!!. I did get it sorted in the end though.
