Admin Mk2Jo Posted June 15, 2010 Admin Report Posted June 15, 2010 ..... have any of you got any OCD tendencies? My son, Jordan, has to have the 2 light switches "matching" in the lounge. If someone turns the lounge light on and the other switch next to it does not match, he has to switch the other one over to match (which means turning the hall light off upstairs) I, myself, can't stand it if the toilet roll has been put on with the flappy bit towards the wall ... it has to be at the front
lotusless Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 no you have that wrong jo the flappy bit MUST be the other way round + don't get me started on julies one's!!!!!!!!!!!
Admin Mk2Jo Posted June 15, 2010 Author Admin Report Posted June 15, 2010 Ian deliberately switches the lounge light on so that it winds Jordan up and, leave it on the bog roll .. you know I am right
Stu_B Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 Anything with a digital volume display must be on 2,4,5,6,8,10,12,14,15,16,18,20 etc 1,3,7,9,11 etc... no way!
Mrs O/H/C Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 I cant stand it if the tea, coffee and sugar cannisters are moved around They have to be in MY order and inline p.s...flappy bit at the FRONT
moredoorAsh Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 If there is a square coaster on a square table, all the edges must be square And every tool in my tool box has to be in its correct place, it can live on the floor fine but if it makes it back into the box....... Roll forward

X-pack-Glyn Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 Yes! OCD to the extreme.... When fishing i have the 3 rods on the pod and all the handles have to be lined up on the reels and the bobbins level... thats a normal carp fisherman thing though and its quite common, but what i also have to have is the reel handles lined up on the spod and marker reels too... also when setting up the pod it has to be level... this is where my OCD gets a bit OTT.. i take a spirit level with me tp make sure its level
Daggle Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 Yep, When I wind the window down on my car, I always wind it down so that the window is wound down to the same place each time, just so that it fits neatly in the corner (I know what I mean, bit difficult to explain ) In the morning, I have to have the correct cereal bowl, not just any old one, then I fill it up so that it overflows when the milk is poured in, I'm very OCD about my Coco-pops in the morning.
Chris! Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 When I park I always make sure my front wheels are facing dead ahead
Trevmk3 Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 Yep, When I wind the window down on my car, I always wind it down so that the window is wound down to the same place each time, just so that it fits neatly in the corner (I know what I mean, bit difficult to explain ) i know what you mean because i do it i have been known when stood at a bar in a pub to straighten up the beer mats and bar towels (get some odd looks doing that) i have to line the vents up in the car so they are straight and level. volume thing that Stu mentioned
Fiesta Steve Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 I can't get out of bed if the clocks on an odd number, or sometimes an even number too

over_head_cam Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 That's not OCD Chris, that's "don't bring your fookin filth in my clean house you dirty bastard " I used to think I needed things done in a particular way or put in a certain place, but I got over it and realised there's more to worry about in the world We are naturally creatures of habit and we don't like change, or to be out of our 'comfort zones' But having intelligence and imagination we twist and turn these habits until they become obsessive, quite often due to or resulting from an event or incident in our pasts.

SebringRS Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 Where do i start When i go to bed, once ive turned the light off, i have to turn it on and back off again, only once ive done that can i go to bed Another, when i sneeze or someone around me sneezes i have to clap after Everything has to be neat and facing the same way up All of my games and DVD's have to be title outwards and facing the same direction. Some of my m8s, ones if your standing the other side, of say a row of metal poles and were walkin each side of em, after each one she has to poke me and the other same as me, clapping when sneezing Thats is all
