boXXer Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 whats your setup? and what do the brakes feel like? i need to order a master cylinder that bolts straight to the bulkhead, and will run a pair of wilwood 4 pots up front, and the drums on the rear. can anyone suggest what size i would need? cheers
GT_lenny Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 i'm running a .75 master single line braking and m16 calipers up front gt rear cylinders, pedal feels good and firm and seems good on the brakes, (well it stops ok and went straight through mot)
boXXer Posted June 18, 2010 Author Report Posted June 18, 2010 thanks mate. im running wilwoods up front and drums rear. Would a 1" cylinder be too big?
285Andy Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 i use wilwood 4 pots up front and single pot VAG hydamech calipers on rear with a 0.75 master cylinder and pedal is really good, nice and firm with very little travel BUT i could really use a servo as trying to pull it up fast is a bit hairy somtimes lol
chunkys mk1 Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 i have a .812 single line with standard mk2 discs up front and drums on rear and the pedal feels good and locks the wheels without to much effort
baz105e Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 mines using a .75 master with mk 3 fiesta calipers up front and standard rear cylinders, if i press hard enough i can lock all four
