andygfc Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 Go for it before you get too old. You only get one life, don't want to look back and think, what if?

FredTransit Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 Before you decide, make sure you do your homework. What professions/qualifications are they looking for? You may be no better off, though at least you speak the lingo!

DAZZA Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 Canada are plugging migration like buggery at the moment. Entry or points systems should be easily met.

redrocket Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 whats stopping you? we moved to Germany last year after my girlfriend was out of work, never looked back. Only thing I can think about is that Canada/USA/Korea/Australia are all very expensive and time consuming to get home with flights, which is why we didnt choose one of them. It's very easy here to book a return flight for under 100 quid and be home in 2 hours, and that works both ways for people visiting. DONT let a language barrier make you avoid a European country, my German is still crap because they all speak English. Just keep your eye on some job adverts pages and keep applying, something will eventually come up abroad. Took me 4 months to find the right job and another 2 to move.
