meddles Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 Hi, I picked up a white MK1 Cortina 1500 Deluxe (4-door) at the weekend. Reg no is WSU 226 and have found it on previous threads (search 'Hey Folks... new forum member with a tatty '63 'tina' and 'Mk1 Cortina Lowering Springs'. To be honest, it hasn't changed much. I'm hoping to go up to the Cortina rally at the weekend and pick up some bits to make a start on tidying it up. Neil

meddles Posted August 12, 2010 Author Report Posted August 12, 2010 Thanks everyone. We're rolling now! MOT'd, taxed and insured. Just got to get used to the column shift now! I also need to get to people staring and pointing at me (in a nice way, of course!)
over_head_cam Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 Welcome mate. I love the pointing and staring bit, though it's a bit embarrassing sometimes
meddles Posted August 15, 2010 Author Report Posted August 15, 2010 I wasn't too sure about the column shift to start with, but now I have got used to it I love it's quirky-ness. It's staying! I picked up some nice bits from the Cortina show too and managed to fit them all today. As soon as I have amassed enough posts, i will post some pics!

meddles Posted September 4, 2010 Author Report Posted September 4, 2010 Thanks everyone. If I could work out how to post some pictures, I would do! Can anyone tell me how?!
Mrs O/H/C Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 You will need to upload onto something like www.photobucket.com then copy the img link
Mrs O/H/C Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 very nice ..whats your plans with it ?
meddles Posted September 7, 2010 Author Report Posted September 7, 2010 I just plan to tidy it up, really. Nothing spectacular - I like it how it is! I have been thinking about a possible engine transplant, but that would most probably mean losing the column gearshift, which I like!
