I'm not competing this year but Jon Bullion with the red Mk 2 Escort - 2.3 Pinto on Slide throttle, Jamie Gough - Box Arched track Mk2 Escort and Aaron Tucker of HT racing in his tuned M3. Should make a nice change to go and watch them ripping the tarmac up rather than having to lie under mine changing a gearbox!!! Anyone else going down?

Toby Posted September 13, 2010 Author Report Posted September 13, 2010 Well it was a bit miserable weather but was a good day. Not so many old skool fords down there but plenty to see. One bloke in his F40 spun it and nearly smashed it and a single seater with 2 hyabusa engines did something similar. The Carbon fibre Puma that wins every year ran 10.2 in the wet - that's just showing off. Nice to see Pudy, Mark, Jamie, Jon and Aaron down there.

But yeah it goes very well! All built by himself! It normally has gearbox issues doesn't it? Perhaps the lack of grip because of the rain helped!
