Our new addition, Mk1 1300XL

Oh go on then, only just got this one, put deposit on it tonight, some may have seen it on Ebay, was only down the road from us so it was worth even a look to see what was what

 

 

Its a Mk1 Escort, 1300XL Sebring Red, its like twins but minus the stripes and its got square headlights Few rips on the interior, but got another set of seats with it

 

Anyhow enough of my blabbering on, only got the Ebay pics for now, but will have better ones once we pick it up

Got loads of service history with it, pretty much every tax disc since it was registered, owners manual, 1st ever log book.

mine was a 1300xl once

 

would be interested to see a few detailed interior pics if you get the chance - mine was pretty stripped out (no headlining, door cards, footwell trim, shelves etc)

 

also interesting to see the back as mine has holes in the boot for the chrome strip but nothing there and no black section

They were 6j lotus steels replica's that are now waiting to go on the V8 rear to fill the arches out, and the other two are having slicks put on ready for next year

 

 

Hence it being sold with the escort steels on instead
