not bad but have you told your insurance company about the mods? probably be the same price as the mk2

valued at £500, 3000 miles a year, comprihensive cover, alloy wheels, lowered over 5 cm, and rear window lourver... £981!!!!!!

escort:

valued at £2000, 3000 miles a year, comp cover, alloy wheels, lowered over 5cm... £2755

 it really sucks !!

but if i sell the escort, i should have a nice bit of money to spend on the 100e or the harrier, so its not all bad

cheers man

the 4 spokes were only put on for the pic, they do the the dogs danglies, but there worth over 5x's what i paid for the car

But i may be tempted to put them on on the odd occasion for going up the ace / shows  / refurb my other good set :P:lol:

need some 165 40/45's for the 100+'s should look smart then

Why pay extra for compreshensive cover ???

If you wrap it around a tree you could buy another with the cash you've saved by having TPO cover.

If you don't wrap it around a tree you've saved anyway.

If you had a minor bump they wouldn't repair it and you probably woudn't want to claim. Personally on a car like that I'd be looking for TPO cover for the least amount possible.
