Escort bumper on Capri ?

Recently ive de-bumperd my capri but now im scared about little bumps etc. so i like the apperance without the bumpers going down the wings, so this might be a very silly question Does The mk2 escort bumper fit on the front on my Mk3 capri ?

I know you can put the mk2 capri bumper on but theyre really expensive.

i would say they wouldnt be wide enough

Width of a MK3 Capri = 67 in

Width of a MK2 Escort = 61.8 in

 

That will PROBABLY be the issue!

 

Why not go for an American Copper look and get bull bars on it!? Would look awesome!

i made those using the original bumper mountings and some chair legs welded on. cheap and cheerful

Hang on, why not MK2 Capri bumpers? Plenty of folk have them on MK3's?

I got my NOS mk2 bumpers from GMS Capri - he may still have some... worth a call to see anyway. They are the black primered ones without rubbers... £65 each If I remember correctly.

Failing that you just have to search ebay regularly - they do come up.
