I will pass the comments on to the lady behind the lens. She has a mk1 too, so i might be able to convince her to get on here herself.

 

Flames via spark plug in tailpipe, extra coil in the boot, and a button under dash controlling switching box(?) under bonnet, spliced into ignition wiring. It wasn't that hard to fit. Once i get a new exhaust, with no fist sized holes, flames will be bigger
