escortmatt Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 i will upload some photos but ive brought this capri mk1 3.0 gxl suposed to be 3.1 init its got the rear wiper was this standard because ive never seen that on a mk1 capri its got the twin headlamps and quarter bumpers aswell

JP. Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 Rear wipers on a mk1 are very rare. They where a dealer option aswel as an aftermarked option. Seen some kits on eBay several years ago. As I remember the motor sits on the shelf with the axle pushed trough the windscreenrubber.

This was my GXL (I didn't refit the side trim) twin headlamps are quite usual Not that usual, only fitted to RS2600's RS3100's and facelift GXL's so hardly run of the mill.
