Between 1am and 11 am I was cleaned out. Must have been more than 2 of em, we heard nothing. Now, whilst it was probably simple metal thieves, read the list and see if you come to the conclusion it was another Mk1 owner.

Mk2

Side door and pillars (could fit a Mk1)

Six stud wheels (also fit Mk2)

Rear axle, complete 5 stud still had the 4 speed prop attached

pedal box

Front roof section

Mk1

2 passenger doors, one white one orange

Dash section

Passenger side wing

Petrol bonnet painted original orange

petrol grille painted orange, slight damage to passenger side

One headlamp bezel painted original orange

one headlamp ally trim

Bull nose bonnet hand painted green

Bull nose grille hand painted green/cream

Much of this was stored in the shell of the accident damaged orange Mk1 we want to restore. The windscreen is out and they went through the windscreen and must have passed everything out that way. Left behind was a serviceable Mk2 wing, and a Mk2 phase2 front panel (which you can't get now, only second hand), a DI exhaust manifold, a front 6 stud hub, 4 X five stud wheels and other bits of metal, so it doesn't seem to me to be just metal they were after.

Keep an eye on ebay folks.
