Jiffer Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 I have just fitted new discs and calipers to the bilstien struts on my mk2, I now have an issue with the caliper catching on the hub? the calipers are replacement m16s that I have spaced to fit a vented disc? its always had vented discs and I asume the calipers I took off are original and spaced to suite so I cant understand why they are catching now? I am tempted to take a grinder to the caliper as its not catching by much.
JP. Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Did you also use the 5mm washers between the callipers and the leg to space the calliper out from the leg ??. Solid disks don't have them washers while vented ones do need them.
