steve mk2 Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 here are some picture of my mk2 escort 1978 GL 1.3. bought from ebay in febuary as my first car for £1120 its done 62000 miles and has barely any rust because it has been ziebarted from new. heres a few pics...... pics on the ebay page when i bought it...... 7 months on and its got..... new headlights powder coated rs alloys powdercoated quatre bumpers powdercoated rear bumper black gutter trim new window rubbers and black insert trin re built rear brakes and new handbrake cable hole car been toped up with waxoyl air horn rebuilt front seats re wired the whole cars electrics sony headunit and two 6 by 9 jvc speakers built in to rear parcel shelf new numberplates bits of rust sorted new rear lights and lenses removed the air box lol new 3 spoke ford steering wheel refurbed pedalbox chromed radiator passenger side mirrior installed peter lloydd full exhaust system and manifold new dash and the oldskoolford sticker!!! thats about all i cant think of at the moment but one day itl be a sleeper this is what it looks like at the moment after all the above.... also here is a few piccys of my dads RS2000 after being off the road for a year due to welding work and painting the floor and then getting his mk1 1300e escort up to scratch for selling (which has now been sold btw) its comeing back on the road this month steve.
