5hane Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 FINALLY had some time to give the car a bit of a wash this saturday, so got some pic's. Ive also fitted my US - spec grill (mate in the background ) And the inside got me 4 spoke fitted, and me head unit, need to get me speakers mounted under the seats, dont want anyone to know that it has any speakers or anything fitted, just it is nice to be able to plug the ipod in Really pleased with the car, want to sort some coilovers, and will proably fit some mexico steels soon ish but, you cant really see it in the pic's, but the paint job isnt that brillant, and the passenger wing has bubbling along the front, and a dent on it. So in the summer im going to change the wing and give it a freshen up paint job, although for the time being im happy - i always wanted this to be a project, not another restoration so im pleased ive started with a good solid car Also neeeddd some pressed alloy number plates for it Cheers any comments welcome

5hane Posted March 24, 2011 Author Report Posted March 24, 2011 Cheers Just put another 12 months tax on it, and getting a MOT booked in asap Need to lower it soon though as its tooo high also thinking of keeping the 12" steels and getting some low profile tyres for them, might be a bit diffrent to the usall 13's ? (lots of minis run 12's so shouldnt be hard finding some decent low profiles)i quite like how the steels look once there cleaned up
5hane Posted April 11, 2011 Author Report Posted April 11, 2011 Flew through the MOT on saturday, no advisaroy's and took the car to "Hangmans Hill" in epping forest propper wierd!! the car rolls UP the hill (at a good 3/4 mph) story goes a man was hanged on the hill next to the road (can see the tree) and he drag's your car up the hill really freaky, as it definatly dont look downhill!!!! Car was behind where i was standing when i got out and had me mate in the car steering, needed to show her how to do the handbrake so no tricks going on well worth a visit if your near (which we wernt )
