Hi all my mate is giving his mondeo diesel back to the log book loan company what a rip off they are and seeing as it wants £300 spending on it before it can even go for and mot id say he has made a good choice. Now he is a capri man but like me also likes cortinas so he is after a daily driver with tax and test or at least test not sure what his budget is but £600 has been mentioned can anyone help him out.

tbh mate a tina for £600 aint going to be easy to come across osf prices are on the up all the time

You should be able to get a rough but useable Mk5 for that. Cortinadale just sold his for about that I think.

Yeah just keep your eyes and ears open mate, you'll find a straight old capri for that no problem

Hi all I managed to get a Capri. Its a 1984 A reg 1600LS and has had a 2.0L pinto dropped in. It is absolutely solid and has some tax and test on. I pick it up at the weekend and will get some pics on soon.
