monkey chops Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 i am thinkin bout letting the rs go if things dnt start to look up.works quiet.need the money i have for the family and home,so carnt really afford to put it on the road or do any of the odd jobs.would seem the right thing to do.then could maybe look at gettin something else in time.if anybody knows this weeks lottery numbers would be great anyone in similar position??

Got my tina sat in the lockup,with very little chance of it coming out again soon, need to fit the new engine management and get it mapped and do some work to the back axle. But even if I did all of that, still could not afford to put fuel in it to actually go anywhere ! It all seems very pointless at the moment puddy

DAZZA Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 I had to sell my daily not so long ago and car share with the missus to get the house sorted and pay some things off. The 100e also looked like it had to go at one point. But a year down the line its sorted itself out a bit and im back on track. No car guy wants to sell his pride and joy, but the fact you are even considering it and putting your family first, shows u are a half way decent bloke. Good luck either way.

I know what ya mean mate, doing building work I had to compete with every other immigrant that comes here, a comple of years ago I lost my job, because of my mortgage I lost everything I owned (exept my 100e lol) then I had my legs crushed and now can't lift my tools nevermind work to support my family, I owe more for my house than when I first bought it, but while I know of plenty of familys that are actually starving or homeless then I coul'nt give a toss about losing my car, I look out the window and see kids with 400 quid iphones or 90 quid trainers I think to myself, poverty my arse that phone could feed a family for months, as bad as this country seems to everybody I've still got a roof over my familys head and food in the fridge, so if my lifes hard then hard then tell me compared to what?
