Rick Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 my project has been going extremely well lately, too well in fact and i suppose it was inevitable that somewhere along the line i was going to cock up! And as i discovered earlier it appeared i already had... i dont know how it happened but after rebuilding the front of the car i bare metal primed it all in 2k primer thinking it was etch/acid primer:. therefore it never actually cured properly. i came to prepare it all for paint this morning and to my horror it was just smudging around like plasticine. i dont know how the hell i managed to do this i must have been in cloud cuckoo land. so most of today was spent scraping it all off again out of every nook and cranny and try and get it all bare metal again i didnt know whether to cry or be angry at myslef.... forward one step and back 3 so dont assume you know whats in that pot of paint, check! o misery
