I'd definitely recommend Samsung!!

I have a 40 inch, one friend has a 50 inch, and one friend has a 36 and a 42 inch one!

and they are all fantastic, good build quality and features, really easy to use, mine came with a 5 year warranty!

are you buying online or from a store? I'll have a look online!

I've just got an LG 42" LED telly. I know you don't want that big, but I'm impressed with the quality and the well thought out remote control and on screen settings etc.

Probably buying from store but maybee online, still not happy handing over largish sums of money over the net.LG and Samsung are two makes that workmates have given the thumbs up to.One of my workmates subscribes to Which? so he can check models that i like in the shops online and get access to the Which? reviews pages. Thanks for replies so far

if you're worried about handing money over online try to stick with the large firms, for example

amazon

play

ebuyer

also currys and comet etc will do "web exclusive" deals that you cant necessarily get in store! i guess it all depends on the offers available in town at the moment!

when i bought my samsung it was £399 on ebuyer and £599 in currys!!

lg and samsung are both good, have a look on the john lewis site, they come with a 5 year warrenty, got my dad a 37 lg 4 years ago and it broke down this xmas, they picked it up the next day and left a replacement tv, his one was repaired in a few days, very good service.
