nosman Posted June 27, 2011 Report Posted June 27, 2011 i like v8's, had a stock RS1600 i and loved the 80's look, so built a spaceframed v8 rs! never finished it, sold it at the finishing stage to a guy for about £150! did 7 years work on it, would have been great, and i regret getting rid, but i had too much on at the time! heres a few pics, enjoy!! as i got it basically built a jig, chiselled the floor out upto the front bulkhead! got the position of the mk5 cortina front clip roughed out and built a frame stuck in the sbf v8 and a manual box, lovely! all the 5 link home made, with a hacksaw, files and a hand drill, dont have a pillar drill, had to make drilling jigs etc engine was well back for dragging few randoms wonder if it ever got finished, wish i still had it! enjoy
