I need 1 x 4-way female (M10x1.0) brake pipe connector 1 x Hydraulic Stop Light Switch M10x1 4 x Hose Fitting M10 x 1 to M10 x 1 male/male bulkhead fitting 2 x Escort anti tramp bar front bushes
Admin Vista Posted August 5, 2011 Author Admin Report Posted August 5, 2011 Thanks for the tip, had a look but their online shop appears to be set up more towards supplying model specific parts rather than general components. Perhaps I should stop being so tight and just buy them from wherever necessary. It just bugs me that at least some of these are parts that I've paid for before and have gone missing over the extended duration of my project.
Savvi Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 All your brake fittings you should be able to get from a local motor centre ot factor like motor parts direct. If not try your local hydraulic speacilst they keep alot of that, landrover boys will also have it i'd guess.
over_head_cam Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 Have you tried West Wales Rally Scott? They may be able to help
mk2harrier Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 hello Scott, for all you general hydraulic parts you could try Pertek down valley road at plympton, ask for mike and be very cheeky and ask for discount, he has helped me out many times. van is looking really good, im so tempted to just pop over and see it in the flesh. have fun.
Admin Vista Posted August 6, 2011 Author Admin Report Posted August 6, 2011 Thanks for all the suggestions I couldn't find what I wanted all from one place so eventually (reluctantly) I just ordered them from separate places.........................meaning about £14 carriage for what could probably have gone first class for £3 Rally design had it all listed but the brake light switch I wanted. They only appear to have banjo type fitting brake light switches, not what I need. They were the only place I could find the tramp bar bushes listed individually rather than as a set. Why is nowhere open on a Saturday morning these days?
