£95........... :(

 Charity or not, charging you nearly £100 to have your car on their display is a bit of a cheek IMHO. That said I'm sure the places will fill. (although not with my car)!

the event was due to run yesterday, ( i had a paper flyer for the event) but am guessing it didn't run due to lack of entry's

The £95 per car cost will have been down (partly) to what Brighton Council charge to close Madeira Drive.

I can't remember exactly what we were quoted when looking at it as an option a few years back but it was many thousands if we were arranging it as a free event for club members, and a significant amount more if we were charging per vehicle entered. Hence it didn't go ahead then either.

Maybe but I guess it depends on your interpretation. I didn't read it as suggesting that all of the £95 was going to charity but I can see why people might. Either way, I still reckon it'll be Brighton councils "take" that makes it so expensive.
