Went to see "From The Jam" last night in Portsmouth - only original member left is Bruce Foxton but By God the man can pogo with the best!!! What a great evening  . The new lead singer sounds just like Paul Weller and the drummer was from Big Country (for those of you old enough to remember  ) ... what a fab night!:beer::beer:

I liked the Jam in their heyday (despite being primarily a heavy rock fan) and a Town called Malice is still one of my favourite tracks. However I always felt that the Jam without Paul Weller was a bit like Marillion without Fish.

Never saw the Jam original line up, but saw bruce and Ricks 'from the jam'

a couple of times, brilliant !

Also used to hang around with 'The vapors' back in the day who the Jam

managed, many hazy nights spent at The Royal public house in Guildford ,

rubbing shoulders with Bruce in their hayday .

Happy days !

Puddy
