I agree with Jo i think it is best left and put to bed now as i don't think we will ever get to the bottom of it! Dave must have his reasons for why he took the steps to blank out the name WERTHERS and i do not feel any bitterness towards him for doing so! Life is to short!! We all have a great summer to look forward to showing off our cars and meeting different people! Heres to 2012

Many people will have their own opinions on many things and Werthers will continue to generate opinions amongst the Escort world. Truly epic levels of dedication and attention to detail went into the build - you've certainly got yourself a cracking car. Glad to hear it's been looked after and stood the test of time, but there's a bit of me that is a little sad it isn't seeing some brutal, sideways and dirty use, though.

ALSDAD Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 The car is so nice that i got my other son who is 9 stone to sit in it when it came out of the trailer! I am 14 stone and did not want my weight on the drivers seat! So as to taking her sideways i don't think so!!
