Just before Xmas I went out to the car to find the o/s door open and the steering comuln trim smashed on the floor. Absolutely sucks. Luckily they got disturbed or something because the car was still there and there's not too much damage, although now when I turn the key it turns all the way without clicking and the car does not react. Be careful if you're in the south guys! This was in Bournemouth. I'm assuming that I will need a new ignition barrel and steering lock mechanism, can anyone comment? I know sod all about mechanical things! Chris

Sunds like it will need a new barrell mate if they have tried to get it going etc..It just shows how carefull we have to be about parking/storing them. Hope you get it sorted.
