Don’t think they will clear, Defiantly don’t clear on a mk1, Most move the master cylinder and use a remote pedal box

I had twin 40's on a 1700 Crossflow that I fitted in the Cortina some years ago, looked at making an extension bracket to move it forward past the carb's but too much hassle on the Cortina, so went the remote route instead.
