Love to know the paint colour/ code as well!! There were many nice cars on the stand a credit to all those that attended. Hopefully next time I will there with mine as well. Well done everyone makes me proud to be oldskool!! That was mine , it's been painted in a vauxhall colour (moonland)
jacman100 Posted June 4, 2012 Report Posted June 4, 2012 There was a black mk1 cortina with a dark silver flash/stripe parked down by the viper engined sierra I really liked that but there was a really good turn out of great cars fairplay osf stand was awesome Gonna have to use this forum more I think
SebringRS Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 really liked the escort van on porche wheels, never seen it done before This one? I didn't see that up there, it does look nice. Though, unlike you, I'm not sold on the wheels http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1972-FORD-ESCORT-VAN-MK1-2-0-PINTO-RS-COSWORTH-/251069557715?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3a74e96bd3#ht_2750wt_1396 Thought the wheels looked pretty good, better than the usual wheel of choice, but i suppose it was a bit of a marmite choice
Admin Vista Posted June 6, 2012 Admin Report Posted June 6, 2012 I think it's as much the tyres as the wheels that put me off the wheel tyre / choice. I know I'm in a minority on here in this respect but skinny rubber on old Fords doesn't look right to me.
