what colour is this?

I have found a pic of a model car in the colour i want for my mk1 escort when its finally completed but i dont know what colour to ask for at the paint shop.

 

does anybody know of any make / model car that uses this colour or similar, i did see an alfa romeo yesterday which wasn't too far off

If u take that car to the paint shop they will match that colour from the colour chips, hope that's use for u.................

Of course the actual colour of the model may be different to the colour reproduced on the photograph........also the colour of the model may be an approximation of the colour of the real thing, I would think about looking at some paint charts, although I am sure some helpful people on here could give some pointers?

How about getting it scanned at your local car paint supplier if your in north London I can give u a phone number

We have a car bodyshop and our Suppliers can scan something as small as a petrol flap and get a good match so if it is close to a known colour the machine can ID it to a percentage match
