SmokeEm Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 I've got a basic Nokia C2 - does all i need it to and cheap as chips!
scootlife Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 both the i phone and galaxy are great. I have a galaxy s2 for personal use and i have a iphone 4s for work. Got to say overall i prefer my galaxy s2 so can only assume the s3 is better. In fact Apple must be worried as they are desperatly trying to get the samsung phones banned !!! Galaxy is larger but thinner and lighter , I phone is heavy and very fragile as glass on both sides. Also you are knackered if battery goes as its fixed in to the phone, in fact if you need to do anything on teh i phone its got to go back to Apple. Siri is pants, doesnt understand a word i tell it, unless i swear and then it tells me off !! I phone very handy for music , and apps, but plenty of apps for android phones.. personal choice really , and cost is in favour of Samsung. HTC phones are supposed to be spot on too and im told they created the android system too !!
Mr2Caps Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 I had a HTC didn't like it, I have a blackberry for work, don't like it. iPhone 4s yes can be fragile, but you can buy a proper case for it.
glenbo Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 i think you should get one of these jo
Admin Mk2Jo Posted September 4, 2012 Author Admin Report Posted September 4, 2012 Ahhhh, I remember the days of having those phones ... and the previous ones that came with a mahoosive battery pack
Savvi Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 Have you still not got a new phone yet then Jo ? Whats your top 3 so far then .......................
Admin Mk2Jo Posted September 4, 2012 Author Admin Report Posted September 4, 2012 Well Savvi, at the moment, I am looking at: 1 - Galaxy S3 2 - HTC One 3 - Nokia Lumia 800 . I have been with O2 for years and years and always just upgrade online but this year I am thinking that maybe I should try one of these phone companies (like Phones4U) to see if I can get a better deal than direct with the provider - anyone got any views on that? Any phone group/online/shop that is offering good deals. . The problem that we have at home is very, very, very poor reception and the only phones that work at home are O2, Tesco mobile, vodaphone (although all 3 of these are random and sometimes there is no service at all on any of them) so it would need to be one of these 3 providers (deffo no 3G service at all either in our area) and I need to keep my same number as too many people have that number (school, insurance, bank etc).
Admin Vista Posted September 7, 2012 Admin Report Posted September 7, 2012 I've never been a fan of the I-phone (even if I do like my I-pod touch for plugging into my car) and the article at the link has jut put me right off them forever! HOW much mark up?? http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/what-iphones-cost-to-make.html
