Just noticed I only have Autowatch showing but I'm dealers for all the main makes Cobra, Clifford, Toad, Sigma, Meta etc. Just done buy a cheap one off eBay !!!!!

And are you better off with an alarm or just an immobiliser? People don't seem to bat an eyelid at the sound of a car alarm these days.

I tend to recommend depending on what vehicle it is and what it's used for.

 

I still have a Clifford concept 650p on my work van, thatcham approved cat1 alarm / immobillser also have one for my Escort, main reason is has a prox sensor which warns anyone peering into the vehicle with a series of beeps, then goes full alarm if window smashed door opened etc. also has 2 point immobillser so if they get in car wont start until the 2 cuts are found and "bypassed"

 

On newer vehicles most after 1998 have an immobillser fitted as standard so i tend to fit a 2-1 alarm upgrade for peace of mind with additional sensors if it's a van, anything after 05 approx can be fitted with a can bus type alarm uses the can bus signal to arm disarm trigger etc. normally uses original key fob to switch it on & off.

 

 

Tracker is still best for recovering the vehicle if they do get away with it !!
