DESPERATE CA18DET wiring help needed!

Next Thursday I am taking out the old Pinto and swapping in a Nissan CA18DET.. Fitting etc not a problem. I need to know how people actually got theirs running.. What wires need power.. What ECU pins need what. I have the loom. Just nowhere to start.. Please if you can, I need help on this..

I've read basically every wiring diagram there is. I just need someone that has fitted one of these engines in a car that has nothing to do with anything Nissan to tell me what needs lives and what needs earthing. There are no basic idiot guides. Nobody seems to have documented how they got these engines running away from a Jap car..
