Stiggy Posted October 3, 2012 Report Posted October 3, 2012 its all a bit messed up. wheather he did or not. he cant defend him self, and he cant be brought to justice. so why have they come forward now??? Oh that's OK then I heard someone on the radio the other morning saying "But he made 40 million for charity" So ferking what, wish he was still alive so they could lock him up.

Admin Vista Posted October 3, 2012 Admin Report Posted October 3, 2012 its all a bit messed up. wheather he did or not. he cant defend him self, and he cant be brought to justice. so why have they come forward now??? Maybe they can't get any justice against him but there are also a number of suggestions that it was an open secret amongst some of the people who worked with him. Well they should of spoken out at the time and if they did know and said nothing are guilty by association. Well they are in my opinion at least. Proving it is another matter.
garyv6100e Posted October 3, 2012 Report Posted October 3, 2012 It is always easy to bring allegations like this to the press's attention and no doubt getting paid to give your story when the person is dead and they can not defend themselves, if these susposed victims felt so affected by thier alleged abuse they should of reported a long time ago and got the justice they deserved if the allegations were true, i am not a suporter of Jimmy Saville he always seemed a bit odd to me but everyone should be entitled to confront these type of allegations in court

In the late 70's we lived abroad. During the latter part of the five or six years we lived out there, I came back to the UK to go to boarding school and one of my younger brothers came back to live with my Grandmother. We flew as unaccompanied minors and it was too far away to travel in one day so we used to get put up by people my parents knew en route. In one particular place we stayed with a man who was the manager of the nations banking chain, I can google his name today and he's still in banking, quite high up too. Well, I would get my own room with a bed that was big enough for both my brother and I to sleep in but my younger brother, then about 8 or 9 would always be directed to this bank managers bedroom. I didn't think anything of it at the time, I was only 11 myself and had no idea that adults could or would abuse kids. It wasn't till about 6 or 7 years later that my parents twigged that something had gone on (when this man had been invited to come and visit us and my brother freaked out) but because my brother point blank refused to tell anyone exactly what had happened, only that it had been something he really didn't like, it never went any further. Though of course his invite was rescinded and he was left clear that he was not to get back in touch or the police would be involved. Me? I'd like to rip his throat out but my brother still won't talk about it and doesn't want to drag up the past. Perhaps if this man was dead and he knew he wouldn't actually have to face him, then he'd be prepared to tell the truth about him? At the end of the day, Who knows what really goes on in the minds of kids who have been abused so young?
lotusless Posted October 3, 2012 Report Posted October 3, 2012 Spot on Scott This dirty peado f.uck abused god knows how many poor kids and he was so "powerful" "great" and raised loads for charity no-one would have believed these poor kids. They have kept this locked away in their minds all this time + now they feel he can't hurt them anymore so they have to tell the truth now. i don't think for one minute they are doing this for the money !! if you have ever met someone who has been abused by someone while they were a child it NEVER goes away + this does destroy their "normal" relationships in later life. I say good for them all for speaking out now, i know it would have been better when he was still alive to answer for himself but he WAS a powerful man in the showbiz world with lots of important freinds and a fookin SIR !!!!! i heard one story where he was backstage at top of the pops with the other peado garry glitter, well the two of them must have had a great time with all the young girls happy to spend time with "famous" men ? and saville stuck up for gary glitter at the time his shite came out !! Also remeber some of these girls have hidden their identity and why the hell would you do that if it were not true ? did anyone see the louis theroux show he did with Saville ?? that was one f.ucked up weirdo !!
Posse Posted October 3, 2012 Author Report Posted October 3, 2012 Now then now then now then . I would like to think he didn't .
Admin Vista Posted October 3, 2012 Admin Report Posted October 3, 2012 Having enjoyed Jim'll Fixit in my youth, I also would like to think he didn't mate. But with so many similar allegations cropping up from unconnected people, members of his own industry voicing the concerns they had AND the revelations that he'd been investigated by the police for it before, it's difficult to dismiss. Perhaps the real motivation for all his latter day charity work was guilt?

Admin Vista Posted October 3, 2012 Admin Report Posted October 3, 2012 Thanks Col. I often feel guilty that I was next door oblivious to what he was going through. I tracked the guy down (sort of)last year and tried to talk my brother into doing something about him. As before, he didn't want to know.

Admin Vista Posted October 3, 2012 Admin Report Posted October 3, 2012 I know it wasn't my fault mate but I still feel guilty, for two reasons. 1. That I didn't realise that this wasn't right and I couldn't do anything about it at the time. 2. That all of those years later when we learnt something of what had gone on, alongside the anger I felt, I also felt relief that it hadn't happened to me.

garyv6100e Posted October 3, 2012 Report Posted October 3, 2012 Sorry to hear about the past Vista someone close to me was abused by her father, and with help from me she plucked up the courage to confront him she never told her mother or sister though as it would destroy her family but needless to say she felt better about herself after the confontation and now her no good waste of space father is rotting 6ft under the ground so i know where you are coming from
