Hello everyone

Im Jim, 27 from sunny clacton on sea, Essex.

I tried joining the site about 8 years ago when i'd just bought my 1st mk2 escort 1600 sport and for some reason had problems and just never got round to trying again. probably me doing something wrong!

I still have my Escort sport which has now had a full resto and been back on and off the road now for nearly 3 years.

Also have another 2 door mk2 escort project but i have no drive to do another one if im honest as im really after a MK1 van.

My other ongoing project is a MK1 Granada 3.0S that i bought a couple of years ago and really need to get on with it!

And last but not least, nothing to exciting is a MK4 cortina ghia in jupiter red. Only purchased this 4 months ago and was a lucky and cheap garage find through a friend.

I'll try and get some pics very soon. Jim

Thanks for warm welcome everyone.

LOTUSLESS: haha, im not down about the tina! did almost sound that way though. That just needs recommissioning work as its sat for 24 years so brakes, 2 bits of welding and good ol' cortina void bushes as it wiggles its arse when it goes down the road lol

THELOUDBOY: Thats another reason for me getting a bit more involved with Forums again, i go to the local classic car shows as i must admit i do like lots of old british stuff, farina's, old jags etc... but i do need to get to some of the old Ford meets, i usually end up hearing about them after they've happened!

Again, thanks for warm welcome.

Saturday meets are good, noticed that a lot of meets are on weekdays and that can be difficult with work etc... I use mine in all weathers until they start throwin the salt down so i'll deffo get along to a meet soon.
