amount of stolen old fords in uk

i have just been looking the stolen section, and i have to say,

im shocked at the amount of cars being stolen.....

very sad to see, we are lucky in ireland that the crime rate is quote low for cars in this market....hope it stays that way...

 

we have a system in place over here where each local community pay 5euro per year to be on text alert, which is ran by the gardai(police). basically if you see something suspect, ring the cops, and they send it out to everyone who has paid, and if these people see anything just ring back in....many TRAMPS have been caught through this system.

 

have you nothing like this in the uk?

We are making policemen redundant and closing police stations! but you may be able to talk to a policeman in a supermarket!

Lol the only policeman in our local supermarkets are cardboard ones!!

our highly intelligent government are closing 1/3 of our stations in coming years, but we still have the system in place..........

 

got a text last night regarding cattle being stolen from a shed and the thieves were caught red handed with 10 grand worth of livestock.

i can promise you this sir, we have them over here too, the difference is, we can shoot them now!!!!! and get away with a slap on the wrist, so to speak..

 

true, alot of irish pikeys have crossed the water, but they wouldnt be stealing classics.......to much of a niche market for them, it would take too long to get rid of the stolen goods.

You can shoot Pikeys and get away with a slap on the wrist? I'm moving to Ireland!! Shooting Pikeys has to be more sporting than shooting grouse, does the community a service too!

naturally there would be a full investigation, but you would be in really hard luck to get jail for it...
