New member looking for a Mk2 escort project.

Hi all, Im Chris!..

 

Joined this forum as I am on the lookout for a decent rolling shell to begin a Mk2 escort project. Ive always wanted a Mk2 every since I was a kid, just never really got around to owning one. Ive recently completed building a classic mini which was also another fave of mine and cheaper than a Mk2!

 

Anyways here are a few pics of my motors

 

 

As mentioned - I'd be interested in any Mk2 projects for sale.

What sort of budget do you have for the project car? A good rule of thumb is to buy the best car you can to start off with as a very cheap one can hide an awful lot of problems.

 

Right now, this is the nicest one I've seen in a long time. It's cheaper than the first post suggests, read till the end.

To be honest I was hoping for something a little better in terms of spec. Pref Grp4 with cage etc already in, forest arches would be a bonus. I appreciate the price reflects the mods..

 

Been watching a few on E-bay!.. all varying in price and quality!..
