Admin Vista Posted December 16, 2012 Admin Report Posted December 16, 2012 What's stopping them latching?
silverstreak Posted December 16, 2012 Author Report Posted December 16, 2012 not sure im confused i think i will have to change the runners from the origanel seats and the airbag light wont go out both the multiplugs are attached its like being on a rollercoaster at the mo
monkeymoreton Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 I always use my runners when swapping seats as you have no clue what's happened to them did you disconnect the battery for 5mins when changing them ? you'll prob need the fault code cleared
mk2 mike Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 Like has been said I reckon the fault code needs clearing too. I had the same thing on my Beemer. It's a common thing that when the seat is put right back it pulls on the lead and puts the light on. Even when the plug is firmly back together with slack on the lead the light remained on. No idea about the runners though, sorry.
silverstreak Posted December 17, 2012 Author Report Posted December 17, 2012 it was the inner latches stuck all sorted now only airbag light staying on now
monkeymoreton Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 get your fault code cleared or like my work electric tape over the light
over_head_cam Posted December 18, 2012 Report Posted December 18, 2012 I know it's a stupid question, but the pre-tesioners haven't fired have they? The other thing ro check is to see if the contacts in the plugs are clean. Unplug and plug them in a few times. I've changed seats in mk6 vans a few times and nit had any problems with the light staying on.
