hi i have a st of lotus steels i want to put on my mk1 escort what size tyres should i use??

That depends what look you want and what compromise you're prepared to accept to get it.

 

Personally I prefer the period look that comes with 175/70/13 tyres. Others prefer 175/50/13. Or alternatively, 185/60/13s lie somewhere in the middle.

 

A word of warning, the car would need to be quite substantially lowered to carry off the 175/50 look and it also affects your gearing quite substantially.

its been lowered 2" front and back is that enough
