I have just about finished the Mk3 engine swap, it's now got a 2.9 Cologne 12 valve, with bigger valves, sport cam, skimmed with DTA management, 215 brake, 235 torque, with the standard inlet manifold and plenum, I was thinking about moding the inlet manifold and fitting triple IDF's, apart from looking and sounding good would there be a power gain? just seen your trumpet pics!

not sure about power gain as thats good power your making , have you got an adjustable dta box or is it done on a real time laptop ? , mine had 42 dcnf,s and must admit after running dgas,s and 390 holleys i was never quite happy with the performance , the triples totally transformed the engine , and it really behaved as well as being very responsive

Thanks for the info Colin, just what I needed to know! would make the project worth doing, will be looking at doing it next year to give me time to source some bargain throttle body's! the DTA is an S60 so is adjustable which makes the job easier.
