fieldy1972 Posted May 1, 2013 Author Report Posted May 1, 2013 Would be good if it was real but spoilt on that motor!! That's what I thought mate. The fella was very well spoken and realy nice. asked if I wanted to buy the plate.........if only!
luckyjim Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 a fella called barney that used to work with me had an old fiesta with a private plate that he had on different cars for years,he told me it cost him £175 back in the day.i offered him £1500 for it and he turned me down.it was 15 BDA.he probably done me a favour cos if i had bought it i would have had to fit a bda instead of a zetec in my escort!
mk2 mike Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 It's real, In that case, cracking plate! Agreed would look the nuts on a minter RS. Anyone seen that Aston near box hill ? Think it just said 'A V12'

fieldy1972 Posted May 2, 2013 Author Report Posted May 2, 2013 That reg RS 2000 used to be on a black bentley in west sussex, i posted it up many many moons ago. Any pics mate?
SebringRS Posted May 3, 2013 Report Posted May 3, 2013 That's what I thought mate. The fella was very well spoken and realy nice. asked if I wanted to buy the plate.........if only! Should of asked him if he had the RS2000 to go with it and buy that
fieldy1972 Posted May 3, 2013 Author Report Posted May 3, 2013 If he did have the escort to go with the number plate , then he would have got a swift kick in the plums for putting it on a Captain Kirk, mate.
Barnwest Posted May 7, 2013 Report Posted May 7, 2013 Actually, it would be interesting to know if he bought it for his RS initials alone, rather than the ford connotation. Did you ask him?
