2litreScapri Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 Is it any good? I'm sure it is but is it as strong as an original Ford part? And is it recommended to buy new silicone hoses or stick with standard rubber hoses?

katana Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 I'm got one for my Zetec conversion and it is 'chunky' / solidly machined and is certainly going to be more robust compared to a 30 odd year old cast item!

Decided to go down the route of replacing parts with blingy bits whilst the head is being rebuilt. Engine bay will look at least more respectable (SmokeEms comment on my engine bay in my main thread about the engine bay needing detailing helped me to decide )
